Once there was a little girl called Clarissa, she was ten-years-old and she lived in a mental hospital, because she killed her mom and her dad. She got so bad she went to kill all the staff in the hospital so the -government decided that best idea was to get rid of her so they set up a special room to kill her, as humane as possible but it went wrong the machine they were using went wrong. And she sat there in agony for hours until she died. Now every week on the day of her death she returns to the person that reads this letter, on a monday night at 12:00a.m. She creeps into your room and kills you slowly, by cutting you and watching you bleed to death. Now send this to ten other people on this one site, and she will haunt someone else who doesn't.

I have to say, my favorite is the 'I' one because that one's the one that makes me think, "Oh, yep, definitely Shikamaru's twin"; though I do like the Sage Mode one with the white embellishments and black trench coat. Gods I hope the Lucky Sevens all become Sages instead of just the new generation of Sannin

Wait, I just found your story and read it all up to ch.105 in a, like, 2 day binge. I've gone through every tvtropes page and looked at a few side stories and spin-offs. What's all this about her and sage mode? I refuse to believe I missed something that big.

It hasn't happened yet! It's just an idea that I've been throwing around. I'm sure you've noticed that a few of the art pieces are 'future' of where the story is currently at. I've tried not to spoiler too much stuff, and some of it may never happen, but I've had enough reviews 'suggesting' sage mode that I'm sure no one will be surprised if it does happen.

The 'I' really is the most Yoshino-looking of them. And the 'H' is sage mode; with white dots, yes. I'm sure it's not a give away to say it's going to be deer. XD

It might be a bit of a mix? Or at least, pre-training leading up to the actual learning of sage mode. I think the summons definitely have a hand in it, however.

Oh, that makes sense. I actually like the way you tend to do this. I mean, Shikako learn new skills with time and little steps. You mention some idea and make her work for it. It makes story realistic and exciting)

So, as of ch 75, are we looking at the "A" or the "K"? Nagato would have a real "wtf?" moment if Naruto and Shikako unveil sage mode at the same time. Sage tag-team!

Chapter 75 is probably the first 'K'. I feel like the green jacket has been retired after sustaining too much damage. XD If you count Sasuke's curse seal, then Team Triple Sage has a nice ring to it, doesn't it? XD

Sasuke could also choose, or need to learn Sage Arts to undo, or at least undermine, the Curse Seal. Bonus pointsΒ if he is willing to take direction from Naruto, which is why I thought tag-team on Pein. "Senjutsu is the only thing that cuts off the creeping influence" would be a hell of a threat.
And Triple Sage wouldΒ trump the Densetsu noΒ Sannin as a fancy title, also badassery.
And while I am still on the subject of Sasuke, may I say thank you for re-igniting my fondness for his character? Canon can keep al of it's nonsensical power-ups, imitating DBZ, I just like seeing a character develop intoΒ less wangst instead of more for once. So, thank you for give us that.

It would be pretty good motivation too. XD In terms of 'ninja you don't want to mess with' a team called Triple Sage or SSS probably ranks pretty damn high, even if you don't know anything about them at all.
I admit, I was kinda surprised by how much I liked Sasuke too, when I rewatched the early Naruto eps. I kinda hate him in Shippuden, so like most people I forgot that he used to be pretty much the best character on Team 7, pre-Itachi. The downhill slide is such a shame.

I love the streaks of light in her hair. Lol naturo has orange dark eyeshadow (that's weird!) . I didn't think it was weird when I saw shikako. I saw it and was like "OMG OMG. Awesome!" I'm going in circles on how she will get the deer contract! Holy Jesus. And it chills me to think the fic might end sometime!

Sage mode can look terribly silly, can't it? I'm not quite sure how 'orange eye shadow' relates to toads, but then, it's artistic license, isn't it? The white stripy hair is still distinctive, but considering what fashion in Naruto-verse is like it's probably not that crazy. (And given that we're at 70 chapters and not even timeskip period, I'm not sure 'soon' is the right description...)

You know, I looked at this timeline of her growth, thought of her team, and then pondered her team spars. So far, in every teamΒ spar you've written in the story, either Shikako or Shikako's team has won. Now, looking at these pictures, I'm waiting for the day they have another spar and someone (or everyone) calls out "I call Shikako!"; well, either that scenario orΒ theΒ [ 'Kako isn't having a good day, and her team thinks "Oh Crap" when she just smiles at them for the team spar [free-for-all] scenario]. Either way, this idea cracks me up even if it will never happen in your main story.

Hah! The boys are growing plenty strong too, and I think in a head-to-head fight, Shikako probably wouldn't fare too well against either of them - but she knows how to keep it from being a fight like that.

You know. I was reading it once again and I though. Huh. Shikako could definitely enter the next chunin exams and pass with flying colors. She would have made it to the finals if it hadn't been for orochimaru, and gotten a vest. She did run into Akatsuki already forcing her to work EVEN harder. She has freaking good seals, medical chakra knowledge, smart, fast, and awesome Taijutsu (I'd say all that makes a low to mid B rank).
Later. Toad probably told Tsunade about Shikako's Seals, & that would at LEAST account for Special jounin! (ANBU would deffinely pick her up to train as a chunin. Because I think they do that?) B's have made it into Jounin before too, and I think she could deff make it into an A before naruto returns. . If Neji made it, why not her?
Nature chakra would definitely push her on high A for having a kick ass jutsu, & her shadow too. . So I think. Yeah. Jounin FTW.
Hah! Imagine if she met Sora if she went to train to that temple for a bit. I hadn't thought of that. She would deff click with him I think. Not as a love interest. She's 13!
Guess what? My vote is on Kakashi for love interest later on. I know it sounds creepy. But come on. She's like super mature. They got time. I would be like Remus and Tonks. Haha. I ship it!

I am planning to write a second Chunin Exams, and Shikako will definitely be taking part in them! She is very much aiming for Jounin, and has motivation in the form of Pein and Madara, so there's all sorts of potential there.
I haven't got any love interests planned, so we'll just see where that goes!

Thank you! I did kinda try to play up the Yoshino look a bit with the hair pulled back, as well as making it a bit more... sleek? Serious? Cut back to necessities? She'll be throwing herself into training pretty heavily at that point, so it's kinda a 'no muss, no fuss' look.
