Description Same idea as [link] but done in Sterling Silver, I needed two of these seperator beads (I decided I'd get terribley bored if I had to make two identical ones since the original needed way too much soldering)

These are both just over 2.5 cm tall and just under 1.5 cm in width....

Anyhoo, I'm still making the larger beads and I have some red quartz beads to string it all up on, I'd have preferred carnelian but ho hum.......

Hmmm, doing repetitive work is 70% of being a jeweler, and it is a great way to master the skills. IMO
They look great now do 200 of them, lol.

LOL, even in the one-of-a-kind world, I get orders for multiples. Thank the gods my father trained me by having me do the same thing day in day out for weeks, whether it was sizing rings, making chain, or setting stones. It is great training for our line of work.

Yes, most of the time I do a design and never ever have to do it again. But, then occasionally I get someone who wants a chain of 50 or so pendants for a designer, or the Masons want 100 hand fabricated abstract rings, or a galley wants 50 sterling earring sets. It is orders like these that keep you in business. If I turned any of them down, I might not be able to feed my kids.

And, if you want to be a bench jeweler, expect to be doing the same thing, day after day for years. I am from a family of jewelers, repetition is part of the job I don't know of a single bench jeweler who just creates originals all day. Mostly they are repairmen.

Lovely work. I really like the two differently shaped domes.
