Another Manipulation this time depicting Anubis; an Ancient Egyptian God known for being a guardian & protector of the dead.It is said he would watch over the mummification process to make sure it was all done correctly & then wait for the soul of the dead person & guide them through the underworld. He would then take the soul to the hall of Ma'ati where their heart would be weighed by Anubis on the scales of justice. Should they be innocent they would be guided to Osiris to dwell in the underworld, however should they be guilty, Anubis would feed their heart to Ammut (a demoness) to meet the final death.

I just featured you too - it's just a journal thing, was faintly stuck when someone featured me, but it turned out tons of fun, seeing more of people's stuff than ever, and impressed with what I pulled together *wow, some good art!*
Isn't he usually black and gold - this is something that will take very serious thought from a humble human (who'd like to do Anubis) I'd love to try 3D for him... want a print of this too...
