Sanarid...eeek!! Now i have a new theory about the shed...Β
There is a nice harmony between background and foreground in this scene. The tree branches have the same depth and jaggedness as Moheganβs fur, and they also seem to curve around his body in interesting ways, as though he is either completely in tune with or subtly manipulating the forest. Very cool effect!Β

Thank you! I hadn't thought of the effect in quite those terms, but I can definitely see it. I tend to work, um, organically. It's a really nice thing when a comment opens up a new way to look at my work.

I think it often happens that the best effects come into being accidentally. If the material is compelling, all of the individual elements seem to form around it. I like to think Mo rules his turf here in the forest.. though I suppose he still has Sanarid to contend with.Β
