A new character! And one that's been in the making for two years. Colored this old pic to relieve some stress... and found out I was extremely rusty. I had trouble with color schemes, and as a result this came out totally different from what I had in mind.
There's a story attached to her, and that one's been boiling in the pot for much longer. I haven't been able to write any new fiction at all.

I think you did a wonderful job. The background is very good and suits well with the picture. Love how you made the sky blend with the sea. Looks natural.

i find mermaids a good way to release. the artistic freedom one can put on hair and tail design is awesome.
