I was very heavily inspired by an amazing Fairy artist, Amy Brown! YAY!You may recognize the poses, if you're a fan of hers, hmmmm?
These two were SO fun to color! The scanner killed the colors off a fair bit, but oh well!
Katara is water and Toph is earth!
And wow... Toph's hairl, I love the way it turned out! She has such long hair, it's got the potential to be so pretty in the show, but she just puts it into her little... er... bun? Anyways, I actually like her regular hairstyle too, but still.
AH! Rambling!
I hope you guys like this, anyways! I was considering doing another set with Aang for air and Zuko for fire, but I dunno... I suck at drawing the male anatomy...

wow! toph is i think the main part of this picter (even tho she's not in front) because she seems so at ease, but then you see her punching the rock. it might have almost looked better with toph in the front but 
even tho katara was in the front, she seems to disapear. i think it's because of the monotonous colors around her. you varied toph, therefore, she pops, katara, not so much...
all in all, the details are amazing! the moon hanging by chains in the background is an excellent touch, and you both showed the attitudes of the elements perfectly: katara, calm but with a dangerous look in her eye, and toph so at ease yet so ready to strike.

I'm looking at the picture again now, and Toph probably would have looked better than Katara in the front, but I had intended on only drawing Katara at first, and Toph came afterwards, at random, so I had to put her in back.
