This is Whirl, herself, along with her character, Leila.
Whirl gave me an excellent reference photo of herself in this pose, in these clothes, so it SHOULD look like her. And yeah, I probably should've thought twice before putting a dark horse on a dark background, but I wanted to draw stars and lightning bugs and such, so nyih!

Well, it came out great. How do you get the lighting so soft? The shine on my horses always comes out way too strong...so that the horses's color isn't so true anymoe.

this looks really calm and peacefull and relaxing. Good job on it ^^ I like the way the horse kinda blends into the backgound a little, it gives it a mystical kinda feel

Actually, for that matter, it seems that you can draw anything that you're asked to do, you name it you've done it, a rhino (loved that pic so much) Aeneas as a mouse, various humans, wolves, and of course horsies!
Hmm....I dare yee to draw a T-Rex / alien hybrid!
Just kidding, I'm just being silly.
Aliens are so fun to draw, you can come up with utter nonsense yet it makes sense.
I can see constant improvement in your art, you just keep juggernauting ahead and leaving all the rest of us in the dust.
