This is from waaay back in October, 2009. I was bored one day and decided to grab my camera and go have an adventure. I did this by exploring the roads near the campus apartments. I got pretty deep into there and even found a lake, but was too afraid of getting lost to explore many of the twists and turns. I might have been braver if I'd had someone along to get lost with.Anyway, the lighting was quite nice - very dusty and ambient. This is probably the best photo of that day

This is very, very beautiful though. I would be very curious to see what it may look like today - in this day and age and all. But yes, it's always best to get lost with someone else! xD
I definitely agree that the lighting is amazing here. I especially love that at the top it has a kind of rainbow effect.
The colors of the woods and leaves are great too -- a mix of brown and green and yellow =]
I also really like how the two tall and lean looking trees - the ones that almost have a silhouette - frame each side of this shot. It adds a more sturdy frame, I think.
And the look of the water is fantastic too!
I like how there are rocks here and there in it, and how it shines and sparkles with a white-blue-ish coloration.
It's definitely very cool!!
This also reminds me of explorations I've been on with friends, and this one time a good friend and I had to dive in between the thorn bushes because a car was going by [and we were naturally not on her land xD] We had actually gotten slightly lost in the woods [not overly so though] because I got dragged in further by following the sight of a hawk in the sky. I actually got my foot stuck in a thorn bush, that wasn't very fun XD
But we did make it out of the thorns, albeit with a bit of difficulty! xD
They were good times though =]
Makes me think I should try and get a few more in...it'd be nice after all ^^

I liked the framing a lot myself 
If I were braver (or could get someone to come along) I'd go explore one of those abandoned barns sitting a field. I think they look cool
