Today is DuanWu 端午节 (often known as The Dumpling Day/Dragon Boat Festival), so here is the rice dumblings! For those of you who didn’t know, this is one of the major festivals that has been celebrated for thousands of years as part of the Chinese culture. The festival occurs on the 5th day of the 5th month of the lunar calendar.Related content

This is amazing I just love it but it could be improved a bit, other than that perfect, I like the style but a bit more colour would be nice just to make it more realistic. I always enjoy seeing an artist's work raw, and this is more raw than I am used to seeing from you, so that makes it appealing to me right out of the gate. Anatomy is nice as usual, and mostly consistent. I am thinking that his right arm looks thicker than his left arm, even considering the foreshortening, and I also feel like we should be seeing the toes of his right foot sticking out from behind his left foot, but beyond that everything seems to be in place. I like the overall soft, watercolor-ish feeling of this piece and the muted palette. It makes for an interesting aside to your usual crisp, clean work.

omg! are you Chinese or whatever? how could you know this special big day for the Chinese people? yes! the Chinese people in Indochina region called it "Bakcang" celebration. my birthday is held after 2 days of this celebration.

I was looking for the source of this - and now I've found it! Great work... (really - and sexy!) though I thought the model (to me) looked decided not very "asian"...? Is it just me? Or was that your point? Honestly Curious.

this is my first critique. i love the work you did. this "estampe" , old style lines and choose of desaturate color worked very well, it give something sweeter, softer. you combine perfectly your line style with the antique japanese, chinese ones. maybe the rice seeds is a bit bigger but im not a rice expert.
so i valide this new awesome work.

aOverall very nice.The imperfections make it appealing. The left foot could have been placed better for composition.Some may pick at the left hand being off. All in all a enticing piece of work.

I really really like the watercolor style. Your greatly captured the Oriental feel.
I also like the concept of him being the dumpling, rather than him serving dumplings.
