For real, I wanted to put this in scraps or something but I don't know who watches my scraps hahA. Oh my god I don't even know why I wanted to share this, I don't even know what anyone could say about this. It's more of a reference for myself than anything. I had something more professional in mind but you knowww have this silly thing
I think I'm just trying to find excuses to post because I'm always in an art/writer's block and I'm like hey I'm alive I promise. And the category I posted this in is probably the category I should be putting all my CAA related work in but I'm just like yooo let's just slap this in the anime section because i'm lazy trash
Here have some random rambling author notes that you can skip over because why not.
Pretty much all of these cities are named after biblical characters/symbols and I put research into them but I don't remember what half of them are anymore//
None of them are really important except Necromancy (because it's the capital), Heḇel (most of V's arc takes place here), and Dives (the scene that leads into the finale of the story.) Jacob's Ladder runs between Heḇel and Necromancy, yis, I think I've already said this, blah blah. Since the Void is mostly one landmass, it's pretty large and they have to spread it out into provinces so that four different military police/government systems can keep their provinces in check. All four systems are under the control of one Warden, so they are linked even though they're in different places.
Necromancy is the capital of the Zion province, and the Undertaker Security Enforcement is the military police. They're the main one, and the one the story will focus on. They are renown as the worst because Necromancy is the most populated city with the most crime. (In reality when you meet the main unit, the Cardinal Platoon, you will learn they are basically just really confused cinnamon rolls 24/7 because they actually have very limited contact with the Warden so they just kind of yolo all their missions/verdicts and dont know wtf is going on. confused cinnamon roll yoloing missions/verdicts mostly referring to Cadence//)
Sevenfold is the capital of the Rephaite province and Debitum Naturae is the military police. They are not important whatsoever in the actual story.
Canaan is the capital of the Endor province (named after the Witch of Endor, not Star Wars I promise) and Ichthys is the military police. They also are not important at all. (Endor province includes all the Sigma islands, not Zion.)
Heḇel is the capital of the Iscariot province and HALO is the military police. They will be more plot important in their nonexistence than anything (That sounds like it makes no sense but it will when they "appear.") Heḇel is sketchy and full of industrial factories and landfills and gunk like that.
Elliott and Eiccel live in Kikayon but commute to Necromancy by trainline for sight-seeing/shopping/everyday things. Ceidi and Chrone live in Eleazar. The USE HQ is located on the outskirts of Eleazar and Necromancy. The spawn zone (where people appear when they arrive in the Void) is located in Dives.
So CAA is going to end up having a hecka lot to do with crime stuff and detective work which will probably be confusing because you guys will be like ?? why did she need to set up this crazy afterlife setting just to tell a detective story? But I promise, the supernatural/religious elements will come back to bite you towards the finale because let's just say the main antagonist manipulates a lot from behind scenes. Plus you guys don't know the real purpose behind the Void yetttt //laughs
