so, after finally finishing HP Deathly Hallows, I'm gonna jump on the HP fanart bandwagon XD!and whilst many are drawing snape fanart (and to those of you who've read it know why) I'm gonna draw my fav. (even though i'm really tempted to do some snape stuff now
) I really don't know why there isn't more Lupin love! *spread*spread*

yes.. i cried. and disliked how JKR seemed to pass over him so quickly as she did so many other deaths...... i mean when almost everyone else died, I had to read it twice because there was only one sentence, then move on....
Also, it pained me how little book time Lupin had in previous books besides POA. Thankfully he had a little more character in this book.
Although, I can't really blame JKR for not expanding a little more on other characters because there simply are too many. It saddens me also that Lupin has basicly no lines in the movies also

ok i just remembered part of the reason i am pissed @ jo. rowling! SHE KILLED MY REMUS!! AND MY SEVVY!!!!!!!! I CANT BELIEVE HER! I LOVE HER LIKE HELL BUT IF I MEET HER EVER THEN I AM GOING TO HAVE A VERY SERIOUS DISSCUSSION ON WHY SHE KILLDE REMUS, SIRIUS, AND SEVERUS! Lupin was my favorite character form the very first time we met him in book three (he was a lot more attractive in my head than he was in the movie.. which pissed me off >.> ). I had this dreadful feeling before book seven even came out that he was gonna bite it. It was horrible. I was just waiting for it to happen through the entire book. When Harry and Lupin had that fight at the beginning I was thinking 'don't do that! He's gonna die later! Then you'll feel bad!'

oh man... I didn't speculate anything, so when Lupin died, I was so shocked. Especially since JKR just passed over it so quickly.
I'm not sure why, but I think i learned to love lupin more in the movie O_o. I guess David Thewlis wasn't my first choice as lupin, but that one part when he just turned into the werewolf (acutally in book and movie) really got to me

I agree, and I actually just finished it only maybe an hour and a half before I posted this? Quite sad how he and Tonks died, I figured just as soon as she rushed off that would happen but you have go with Foreshadowing at that point... D8
I also agree that many characters didn't appear enough in later books which was kind of sad but you can only write so much. I now must go and re-read PoA for my Closure... Teddy is funny. o.o

Aw...Lupin's always been my fave. You did a really great job on this. And I haven't read the book at all, but I know he dies, lol I've read tons of spoilers. Everyone keeps getting mad at me for not reading it! But I don't want to just yet...I don't want the magical journey I've been on for years to end! Lol! It'll probably feel like a part of my life is over when I do get to reading it.

Lupin really does get no love during the movies (I think they tossed him in the background a bit during the 5'th book 'cause the actor is so damn pretty).
I thought he was a bit of an ass during the first bits of the book, but I just /LOVED/ when he showed up at Bill and Fleur's "IT'S A BOY!"
Just warmed my heart.
My roommate pointed out that Lupin seemed happier in death than he ever did in life.
I really hate that she killed him, there just wasn't any point to it. Most of the other deaths had a reason or a point to them, his seemed like an after thought or an extra body to the count. I think it would have had more impact if Tonks (who I used to adore, but ever since she turned into a mopey little whiny annoying weepy girl for Lupin I just... URRRRH can't stand) had died and left Lupin to care for this child he didn't even want to begin with.

I actually do like tonks very much, unlike the many here at dA. I thought the relationship was cute! but like many other characters she once again was tossed around after being introduced.
I also agree with how lupin kinda sucked a bit in the beginning of the book. He was constantly depressed looking? yea.. his character was just boiled down to like three words...
and I also hate that he was passed over so quickly. Apparently JKR said it was between him and Tonks vs Arthur Weasly. Why must someone die!! especially like that?!

anyway i agree with you about how lupin didn't get much action in the latter books. he's a cool character and i wish JK expanded more on him and his relationship with tonks.
