lol i lived at the wolfkeep a wolf preserve this summer n learned alot. it is also a sign of aggression.

lol yup it was fun. Every morning we went through the enclosure and fed and watered them and after we were done, Wizzy, the alfa, would wait for us and we'd stop on the hill and give him the ok and he'd start howling and we'd join in! The whole pack would start howling around us...they made us part of the pack.

Oh yeah, we'd go in there and sit down and Wizzy would come running up and rub against us and lay down and want his belly rubbed and then behind the ears and then the spot on his but right where his tail meets his back lol, Woody would let you sometimes too and Maddison and Teton loved getting lovings as well. The wolf pics in my gal. are of the pack, mostly of Wizzy.

it was a blast. There was this wolf, Heidi, who was my project. She didn't like humans very much, she was really shy. And she would get beat up by the pack all the time so we had her in iso, and I'd go out there everyday and feed and water her and bring her treats and sit down with my back to here and every day she'd get closer and closer, and eventually she'd come up and nudge me with her nose or paw at my back! She was my girl, but I ended up having to move back to the plains. I miss her

Lol she was a blast, it was so much fun watching her improve daily. And to watch her trust people more and more. She's supposed to be the Alpha Female but because she's the only one that could breed we had to take her out during her season. She she loses her position in the pack and becomes the omaga.
