Description This is a wet transfer print done with some ink aid gloss precoat on Dura-Lar film, then transfered to Arches 88 waterleaf paper soaked with water.

the edges of the print and the distress in the print are real, this is not a photoshop manipulation. the edges of the paper are also real, not some photoshop masking trick. this is the first in a series of attempts to take the "digital" out of some of my work. i hope to find a place to exhibit these over the summer!

It is a beautiful picture full of grace and insipration with a very interesting textural dimension indeed.

Now the factt hat you have arrived at that through "real" tricks instead if "digital" ones is to me totally irrelevant. Only the end result counts, regardless of the process. Any process, be it digital or physical, by definition, disapears when operated. It is pointless to underline it. Who cares if Da vinci painted with a brush or his fingers ?

Fantastic! It is great to see someone doing traditional 'hoto manipulation': actually manipulating the print. Well done!
