The third of four profiles I will be uploading. From my untitled Sherlock Holmes fanfiction which can be found here: [link]Yay Watson!
I used the writing of Edward Hardwicke (one of the two Dr. Watsons from the Granada Sherlock Holmes series) for reference for Watson's signature. He has such beautiful handwriting.
The big picture is done in Adobe Illustrator, just for reference and to get the character's look right. The other sketches for reference and future drawings.

Oh yes, that's right. I remember Holmes deducing something like that from a pocket watch that had belonged to the brother.
