I've been loving these two to death lately (can't you tell?), and since I've always wanted to try my hand at Art-Nouveau, I came up with this.
"Hidden" things:
Kuwabara and Yukina are dressed in traditional Japanese wedding clothes. Granted, Yukina's kimono is not nearly as decorative as it should be, but it would have been overbearing. The flowers in Yukina's hair are called Red Amaryllis - it is a flower that blooms in the winter. I thought it fitting, she being an Ice Maiden. The leaves around the portraits of Yukina and Kuwabara are mulberry leaves. In Japanese, "Kuwabara" means "mulberry field." And all devoted YYH fans remember the line, "A mulberry's a tree and Kuwabara's a man!" In the circles in the arc, you can find: Kuwabara's spirit sword, birds that Yukina loves, and Yukina's Hiruseki stones.EDIT: Changed Yukina's sleeves to be more accurate to a kimono; gave the piece a definite bottom - the previous version looked like it was cut off. I chose "Kuwabara" to fill in the space between their first names because it is their marriage, Yukina taking on Kazuma's family name.

This is such a unique YYH fanart piece. First off, I love the pose, very tender and sweet, super cute! I like all the symbolism you put in this, definitely adds a layer of depth. Good composition and flow also, I especially like Yukina's hair for some reason lol. Beautiful work!

Love the solid lines and the light marble-like texture!

As others have already said, this is so beautiful. I love the way you draw these characters, Yukina especially--you've really given her face a lot of personality based on what little you have to work by from the manga/anime. The nose, in particular, is just lovely.

Thank you very much! I try to draw as much on the manga/anime as I can, but all their noses pretty much look the same...except for Kuwabara's. So I tried to mix it up a bit. Thanks again!

I can't tell you how beautiful this is. This is just stunning. The colors are soft but vibrant, their profiles are perfect (I love the flower in Yukina's hair) and their names down the sides are a lovely detail.
This is the kind of thing I would imagine making a gorgeous book cover.
Art-Nouveau seems really hard to get right but when it's done well, it's breathtaking. Amazing, amazing work.

I am feeling much much better now! I'm pretty much back to normal except I'm not driving and not sitting up for long periods of time. I start physical therapy today so hopefully that will help.

hihi i think its "A mulberry is a field, Kuwabara is a man." ugh, i can't remember... People in Japan chant "kuwabara kuwabara" when there is lightning... because they believe that the mulberry field can't be struck by lightning. C:
