Description Another piece I made for the wedding.

This axe was given to my best man both because I wanted to give him something but also because I think it's fitting if you read his role in the old times.

The axehead is hand forged (although not by me - since I don't have access to a forge at the moment).
The handle is made of teak, and has leather band around the grip. After I fitted the leather band I poured boiling water over it, to the it to shrink and tighten.

The sheath was made of 3,5mm veg. leather, lined with suede.

Thanks I think it turned out good, and it was important to me that the axe it self was visible.
