edit 5/19: Decided to be a little braver with the colors and redo the lines on this. Much happier with it now.

Did you do something to her eyes, or is that just the color of her face and mane making them stand out more?
I agree with Shawn about her main, I think it's a little too dark, while her body color is perfect I think.Β All in all, still completely adorable and wonderful

Nope, didn't change the eyes themselves, although I did blacken their outline. That and the brighter body color probably brought them out. I'll see what I can do about that mane.

The darker lines definitely add more pop to her (you know me, I'm a big fan of visible lineart), but I do think her hair is a touch too dark now with this new adjustment.Β What say you?

Well, I recolored her mane from scratch. I think it's actually lighter now than it was originally 
You know, it only occurred to me after the fact that I was altering a piece of art I had drawn as a gift, which you had described as "beautiful and perfect". I felt kind of bad about it when that thought occurred to me. I guess "artist's syndrome" got the better of me and I just wanted to improve the areas I thought could be better. I hope you still like it.

I think it looks much better now!Β Her hair was just much too dark before, but now I think it's perfect.Β And the darker lines do make her stand out more; that being said, however, I wouldn't make them any darker for any future drawings, or you might end up with an unintentional cel-shaded look.Β Overall, I think it is an improvement over the original, so good job!Β
And no worries, man, I still love it to pieces.Β

Hmm, too dark? Sometimes I think I color too lightly, maybe in this case I overcompensated. I'll lighten it up a bit, try to get it back in the pink.
