Mother of all cubs. Singer of the Traditions. The living and loving memory of the Pards, Akhala is the elder of the Black Maned lion pride and one of the most influential of the Pards. The lionesses have always been the prominent strength of the Pard: they are the best teachers and many are the Pards from others bloodlines that come to seek help, guidance and counsel to manage their Beast. There is a saying "Whoever controls the Lionesses, controls the Pard" and it is very true, but Akhala is not one to be controlled that easily despites the many attempts made by Lundrim to destabilize her or her people.
She is a true neutral force, she does care about one single thing: protecting the Pards. She and her daughter Akhane are living with Deyandar and doing their very best to counteract Lundrim's twisted plans of using the Pards to gain power.
She has lived through many a sorrow and as many joys, and has kept her caring, comforting nature true to this day. She is a mother, she is The Mother, the patient teacher, the fresh hand that chases the nightmares, the singing voice in the evening, yet mistaking her gentleness for weakness would be a great mistake as she has control not only on her Beast, but is also able to control the savagest impulses of the Pards nearby, dimming and dulling to no existence any attempt to attack.
Unlike Deyandar, she has a great sense of humour and does appreciate Baireï rascally's ways, they are actually quite close even if she does not trust him in some aspects. He jokingly calls her "auntie dear" and has brought Katy to her when it was visible he wasn't a fit teacher for the stubborn girl.
