I'm tired of the pageview wars out there. I've noticed so many people's signatures with "advice" on how to get more pageviews. UGH... honestly, deviantART is about art, not pageviews. Notice how it's called deviantART and not deviantPAGEVIEWS! Popularity does not imply success in its truest form.And I quote the following from FAQ #4: Which options can I control under the Edit Settings page? :
"Pageviews Display - See Pageviews: This toggles whether you will see other people's pageviews. If you decide not to, we'll let other people know that you don't care about pageviews when they visit your profile."

i tried to add this stamp to my main dA page but its not working. i dont have a paid account and not planning on getting one. you think that the only way to add stamps is to have a paid account?

Unfortunately, yes. However there are several individuals who make "plz" accounts with people's stamps to use icons in their non-subscriber journals. I can't find the right article, but here are two that will give you a clue about what I mean: [link] and [link] . Hope that helps.

Oh YES I love this. Out of all the craploads of stamps out there i think this is the first one i would proudly show on my page (if you allow this of course). So please let me know. thanks. as of about 2 months ago i have added i think 6 people to my block list that are what i call chronic favers for pageviews. there are many other names i call them but you get the point. everything i have ever faved i faved because i like it. I dont fave to get pageviews unfortunately not everyone thinks like me.

my friends used to be like i have more page veiws so i must nbe better than you! and i thought well were all equall arent we but it gts annoying when people do that

I totally agree it's not about the pageviews (Even though it may be nice to have them). It just seems to make everything a competition and people without many then feel like their art is terrible. It's the same with watchers. People think that if you have a lot of watchers and page views it makes them ultimate and more superior to the other artist on here who are amazing and are not very well known.

Amen. Page views don't matter. Popularity doesn't matter. It's about you want to do with the art, regardless if popular or not.

Very true, pageviews don't necessarily mean that that many people have actually looked through your gallery, or even read your journal. I'm sure there are a lot of amazing artists on here that don't have an abundance of pageviews, and in the end, it's not all about popularity, but of the talent

LoL, right now, yes I have a little over 30k pageviews, but I made this stamp when there were pageview wars going on all over my front page. It was frustrating so that's where this stamp came from...
