I really love what you do with the roses! How do you get so much detail into them?

thanks! I used a real rose as reference and did a rough sketch of all the shadings. Then i took a marker and just roughly traced the outlines, where it felt right. Then i used a lightboard, flipped the paper and drew the lines nice and tight. Then i did all the shadows by hand, took it through photoshop to fresh it up, and voila!! you got yourself a rose
