i live in northern canada so i see them all the time. They are absolutely beautiful! everytime i see them, they make me feel really calm and close to the earth.. if that makes any sense lol! I hope you see them someday, there's really nothing like them

I actually do believe I had a dream of seeing the northern lights... and I wasn't even in the right place to.

I live in North-Norway and every year everone here is like: "Omg maybe we'll get to see the northern lights this evening!" And when they dances over the sky it is just so beautiful to look at.

Yesterday I saw it. It was a weak waving green line, but BEAUTIFUL!
I really want to see the 'traditional' Auroras. The whole sky full of these waving curtains of light!
Nordkapp in Norway is a good place. Auroras appear there all the time in the night.

They appeared in Maine, though not very often here in my town. Ive seen them once. It was beautiful. Blue and pink and purple

I saw some red Northern Lights when I was about 6 years old; And I still remember it well. If you want to see some REALLY huge Northern Lights, Just travel to Northern Canada or Alaska, that's what I'd do XD

It will be something you will ALWAYS remember. If you get one chance to see it, don't spend it trying to take pictures.. just lie on the grass or snow and enjoy it. Believe me when I say you simply can NOT even imagine what it's actually like being right underneath them...

I'll take a picture one day.The problem with being as north as me or if you go to Alaska, is it's cloudy almost all the time. The perfect place would Yellowknife (NT) It's not nearly as cloudy, and the northern lights are brighter. Although they're not nearly as bright as in photos, the Northern lights are definitely a sight! I live in Inuvik, NWT, Canada, so I've been seeing them for nearly 3 years now.

I have to see the Aurora Borealis in a massive way. Apparently they are better/ more frequent etc closer to the magnetic north pole, which is in the northern most islands of Canada atm. So I guess I'm going to Canada!

We see them nearly every night that we're out and the sky is clear..lately not very much so, but in past years I have gone out nearly every night and seen the spectacular sight for all my years.
They never cease to amaze me.
I hope the world cuts down on pollution because I read at our current rate of carbon dioxide pollution we're going to eliminate our capability to see them in 25 years

Im jealous 
My dads seen them too. He saw them just from England! A town called Shilbottle very very occasionally sees them, its where he grew up. Im happy to go wherever to see them haha
