A 42nd birthday + 20th anniversary gift to my beloved parents (their birthdays are two consecutive days, and their wedding anniversary is only one week later ). They are Dragons in the Chinese zodiac, and my mum is really fond of Chinese astrology. So, Chinese dragons seemed a natural choice for them.

And how I suffered to make them happy The wretched scaly things took me about six or seven Iron Maiden albums to finish. At least I'm satisfied with them... unlike the rest of the picture.

Exception from the "rest" is the poem (I really like how that turned out), which I won't try to translate, since my last attempt to do so resulted in a real monster in English. It's basically a figurative way of telling the two most important people in my life how they need each other

And I forgot where I got all the references I used for the dragons.
