When I read the Chapter "Light" all those years ago, I was so disappointed that there would never be an episode depicting the tragic and final death of Kikyou. However, a few years later, I found myself watching the death of the tragic priestess, and it was well worth the wait. Her death was the most tragic and beautiful that I've ever seen in an anime. The Seiyu were SO good, you could really feel their pain. Kikyou and Inuyasha's final moment was so moving!

"Kikyou...I couldn't save you!"

"But you came...and that's...enough!" (SO SAD!!!!)

It was such a moving scene, and now after re-watching it recently, I felt compelled to draw the scene again. I'm proud of this one, I think it came out well.

Kikyou and Inuyasha are both property of Rumiko Takahashi. If I did own Inuyasha, Kikyou wouldn't have been the one to die...
