After a while, he calmed down (if that's possible for him!) and regained his more strategic mindset and showmanship skills. He does have some loyalty to the Triad of Dark Magic for resurrecting him, but he hates Arthur Black for using him as a servant.

Bio: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackbea…

The mighty water-based crusader known as Prince Neptune made the mistake of attacking shipping (secretly whaling) vessels that belonged to Black Heart Enterprises. It's CEO Arthur Black, commander of the Eurasian organized crime syndicate the Black Plague, found out through his supernatural connections the young man's origin & powers. He decides to fight fire with fire and convinced the Triad of Dark Magic to resurrect the infamous pirate captain to be his secret weapon against the hero.

When his wife found out, she was appalled. In a twist of fate, it turns out that her French ancestors were tormented by Blackbeard back in his heyday (he attacked a merchant ship owned by the Moreau family in 1717). Without much convincing, Commander Black destroyed the talisman that was used to control him, hoping that it would send him back to Hell. But it didn't! It simply broke him free from the control of its possessor. Now Blackbeard, now known as Deathbeard, is running wild with no restraints, no humanity, and no way of destroying him!

Notes:
  • his death touch is one of the few things on Earth that can really kill Prince Neptune!
