I think the helmet is too much. It is not protection I think about when I look at it.

Well, when you think about it, there's no way anybody would actually go to war with such an armor.
The idea here is that it's supposed to be one of those armors made "for show", but that she probably had no time to find a better armor to fight on such sort notice.
Kinda like Shining Armor's, really.
