I'd still like to draw decent humans so I may as well keep trying!I always thought that even though her bravado in the comics when entering the human world was true - I can't help but imagine she was a complete mess of emotions as she abandoned her home. This is just what I imagine was going through her mind on her first night trapped in another world alone.
(Yeah I'm a Sunset sap. Sue me)

I don't really buy into the idea that Sunset is homeless or lives in the school library. Sure Twilight got away with that, but she was only in the human world for a night or two. After that, all sorts of annoying issues would come up, like food, bathing, and inquries from the authorities. Furthurmore, I think the old Sunset Shimmer would have too much pride and high standards to accept living out on the streets. I believe that after this night, she would have wised up and sought help from the authorities. Since they wouldn't have been able to find her family (in my headcannon at least), they would have put her in the foster care system. Or you could go with MythrilMoth's headcannon and assume that she somehow replaced her human counterpart (hopefully in a manner that doesn't involve murdering her.

Awww this is fantastic. Its very gritty and gets to the point but you also feel very sad for her at the same time. All alone in the human world, since she is like twilight and has only ONE version of herself lol well SCI-TWI but that does not count I meant they both do not really have human parents do they? They were not shown anyway. So her loneliness is really apparent in rainbow rocks and definitely in this picture before she started her descent into evil...uh then good

Not just abandoning her home but abandoning her species, even kind. In those early days, how many times must have she woken up in this hideous, alien body with all sorts of unfamiliar and disgusting anatomical features and just wept in horror at the monster she's become?

I always wonder, WHERE SHE SLEEPS in human world?! Does she have a home there? I don't really think so. It would be hard to find a home in another world, or at least a decent one. I always feel (or better said, in my headcanon) like she sleeps where she comes at night, mostly in the school library, judging even by the comic "EqG Holiday Special" where she was writting with Twilight in the library at night (maybe she was elsewhere when Twilight slept there in the first movie). I know I have a harsh thinking.

When the full weight of what she's done finally hits her. Probably had to become just as a big a bitch as she was just to try and function without breaking down every time she stumbled on two legs, forgot that she didn't have magic or tried to pick something up her mouth until it became the only way she could interact with anyone.

If I saw this picture when the first move came out I would have said "serves her right," but now... hnnnng the poor thing. >w< Must have been pretty darn depressing getting trapped in another world without a way back... I know I'd sure be crying. x3

x3 It may be sad, but it adds more drama to the scene. I like it. I think she probably would be crying anyway. Can't imagine she'd be happily skipping around after loosing her home, friends, mentor, and practically... everything. xD
