I floated this idea around with a friend of mine last week but never found the energy to do it. It's a spiritual follow-on to one of my older Tia/Luna Pictures: Battle of the Sisters.

After having a particularly frustrating and painful day, punctuated with the odd moment of good, I felt I was in the appropriate mood to tackle a sad miserable picture.

This was an interesting one to do, mostly because I spent the WHOLE thing worried about light. Normally I give up on lighting and just make it nonsensical. This is one of the main reasons I avoid Backgrounds - but because the background was such a focal point of this picture I didn't have much in the way of options to avoid it.

This Background is probably one of my favourite ones I've done before. It does what it's meant to do - look moderately pretty <3
All in all, I quite like this picture. It's nice to commit to a few more bigger images.

Speaking of bigger images, Please check out my latest journal entry. I'd like to get feedback on who would be interested in a Raffle. If there is enough interest, I may start it next week! <3:
Art Raffle ProposalTo all one of you who read this <3
I was thinking of doing a weekly Raffle of sorts and the price would be a character drawing of your choice. Be it an OC or an actual MLP character. It'd probably be done something along the lines of the following in terms of style (and maybe quality. No background though - I'm a lazy bugger):

Entry would be free, the only requirements are to be a watcher and favourite the journal posts and to leave a comment.. And maybe sharing on another media could grab you a second entry - in which case leaving a comment including the link to where you shared it.
Obviously because It's a free drawing, It's just going to be a case of the winner providing me with a reference picture and maybe a potential pose (heck. Even "Just standing there" is acceptable). But it won't be a case of getting continual feedback. The picture would just go straight into production once the winner provides a reference and pose.
