This is the kiriban won. I'm so glad it is finally done!!! I got carried away with details and jewellery!!! I LOVE painting jewellery!!!!

I took some artistic liscense but I hope likes it!!!
Time, approximately 15 hours, completely done in Photoshop CS2 and with a Wacom Bamboo tablet.

Which program do you use? Usually you can work with different layers. This way you can try out different styles or colours and when you don't like it, you can delete the layer. A graphic tablet is much better than a mouse too!
I have several paintings up my sleeve too. All only partly finished...
Just give it a try! Though I like traditional art very much!

I had a hard time creating that fluffy, shimmering look of the *ruffles* (thanks for the translation) but it was great fun to paint the jewellery with the light reflections!!! ... and I have new brushes to create textures on textiles

About my muse... I need a good idea, a picture in my head, to draw or paint something. Your stories helped a lot and then I took my artistic liscense for the designs and the clothing. That you are happy with the outcome makes me happy too! That you will put it in your book honours me!

When I was younger I went on vacation with my parents... In the Alps, there was a natural lake, which was our pool. Imagine swimming and all you can see around is mountains and wood!!!

A friend of mine worked there, so we could go in BEFORE the millions of tourists flood the castle. Two hours almost alone (3 of us) in this wonderful castle.
