Description
I play pen & paper Rp for a long time now and we love to play with miniatures too (mainly for tactical situations / fights). But having four or more people sitting around the table with their BIG charactersheets, dice and even note papers, takes up a LOT of space.So I created small, decorated folders. This one is my latest creation. Maybe it will hold my most recent characters... or I will turn it into a gift, sell it... don't know yet. I only knew I wanted to use this scaly leather in compination with this glass eye. The latter I purchased on etsy, the leather comes from my HUGE trunk of scrap leather I collected over the years.
Recently I FINALLY created well readable, easy to fill in charactersheets (Pathfinder rules) for those A6 sized folders. The charactersheets are compiled of six A6 pages for all the stats on the first page of the original charactersheets and I added more for extra information like feats and traits, carrying capacity and whatnots...

Yeah! For the characters I really like it is awesome to have small foders. In my favourite party we all have such folders, which leaves us much more space for miniatures, dice, snacks, drinks and the occasional map

I bet. From what I can see you did an amazing job. Something like that would be perfect for my gaming group too as we have much the same problem. Lots of books and papers and miniatures and props and not much room on the table... We've since moved to the floor. But were all getting way to old to be playing on the floor. (ok not THAT old) but still the joints don't like sitting down there... LMAO

That is EXACTLY the reason I created those. It took me AGES to format the small pages in a good way... at least I think so...
Ok... it needs a bit of time to get used to, but then... it is far better!
And a simple folder is not that difficult to create. I will cover another one with beautiful green suede...

I bet it would take a long time to format. I've done some books (mostly digital) for my groups before and they take forever to format too. So I can relate to that. Though this is much nicer then anything I've done. Way cool!
Yah once you get used to one way you have to get used to a new one when gaming that's truth indeed. But yah I could definitely see it as being better in the long rung for sure!

I found another flaw... )the mini character sheet was playtested yesterday 
I will have to add the touch and flatfooted AC...
BtW... I use the Pathfinder rules. Should you be interested... I wanted to create PDFs of the charactersheets when they are finally done
And when I manage to take proper photos, I will share them!

Oh I would love that! I have used the pathfinder rules and we sometimes do Pathfinder, or DnD depending on the week. We like to mix things up.
(playtesting is the only way to know when things need to be fixed/changed I have noticed.)

This is so classy. I love it. I take a lot of pleasure in designing and honing character sheets for our homebrew rules for RPGs, so I totally understand.
