Description
San and Ashitaka from Princess Mononoke.Colored pencil and pen on cardstock.
Very happy with this one, tho his face turned out a little discontent,
but then I remembered, he has a demon in his arm that is slowly killing him,
I'd be a lil discontent too 0_0
I'm glad it had a happy ending tho! ^^

bleh---open to interpretation... I've always (or at least usually) hate open ended problems--ones that have more than one solution or way of working them out. My mind can only take one means to an end at a time... Not multiple... ah well, it can't be helped.
I loved the part where the guy gave the forest spirit thingy back its head. That was just fantastic. (it's kind of ironic to say--"here's your head back" as if he was giving back a pencil or something". I don't know, maybe it's just me)

Awwww...this is a very sweet fan art of these two ^^ Sai's expression is so lovely, while Ashitake's seems appropriate as well (like you've said, he's possessed by a demon that's killing him).
