  Ki Manipulation: Akiryu can generate, shape, and manipulate his inner life-force energy, ki. By harnessing this energy, he can perform many superhuman feats such as flight, augmenting physical prowess, and firing destructive energy blasts; he has various applications for his ki like:
    Enhanced Condition: He can channel ki through his body to enhance physical capabilities like strength, speed, durability, endurance, senses, and so on. However, the physical body has limits to what it can take even with amplifications.
Ki Sense: As ki exists in all things, he is aware of others within a certain proximity of him; he can locate them and determine how powerful they are. The further the distance the weaker the signal, also ki masking can shield targets from this completely.
    Ki Masking/Amplification: With mastery over ki control, Akiryu is able to vastly increase and decrease his ki output to fit almost any situation; allowing him to strengthen or weaken himself respectively as well as give off stronger and weaker ki signals. Fighting Style: A prodigy in hand-to-hand combat, Akiryu is very skilled; he mainly uses his ki to amplify his physical status, but can also use it for long range combat. Using the Cranes School's art of fighting he is a deadly foe. Though not one for killing, he can and will if pushed too far. His quick and precise fighting skills, coupled with his knowledge of human anatomy, make him highly proficient in pressure point combat, he is also skilled in aikido and judo.

Bio: A promising student of the original Crane School he is very powerful and very talented. Advancing through the ranks faster than any of his fellow students. However, despite the "kill-or-be-killed" teachings he went through, he remained compassionate and merciful. Finally fed up with this dark place, he left to travel the world in search of Tien Shinhan. Almost two yards out of the door and already he was attacked by a group of students, they were easily beaten and he was allowed to leave. However, with every passing week that followed, he would be attacked by other students of the crane school; with almost every battle ending in a flawless victory with no casualties. The only challenges he had were against his rivals, the Kyou Siblings Ren and Rin. As a former student of Crane, he has learned the Dodon Ray, Sky Dance, and Kikoho among the other techniques that he has discovered on his journey. Times got harder though as his hunters are got stronger. Will he reach his goal, or die before having the self-proclaimed privilege of meeting Tien?
