Description So it's an age old question, which is better Star Wars or Star Trek. The truth is you can't compare the two. Which is hard for me because I'm such a huge fan of both. Anyway this was basically just an excuse to use some new space tricks I learned.

It is a depiction of a Bat'leth, which is Klingon for "Sword of honor" and a lightsaber, which is jedi for "Unoriginal name that sounds like candy". I was going to draw a severed Klingon hand but...it would ruin the drawing really because I draw horrible hands. However if a Klingon and a Jedi were to fight I'm sure there would be a loss of Klingon limbs. I thought it was a good match up because they're so different. Klingons fight to enrich the spirit, not just to spill blood. And Jedis of course fight only when they have to. Anyway I know everyone has their own opinion as to which is better, the majority of it being Star Wars I'm sure. I'm actually inclined to agree, but I must stick to my Vulcan beliefs and remain nuetral.

There's also a few nerd details I left out. As Klingon's have like...pink blood I believe. I'm not actually sure. Vulcan's have green blood...I just know it's not red. This is a totally long description. I love to notice things! In conclusion, um...Lord of the Rings?

I just realised what a horrible title this is. What horrible titles all my stuff are. Have. Is.

To say something about this, Star Wars would completely destroy Star Trek in a fight, I got to have a report on anything, and I studied this topic.

Choose the imperial propaganda or whatever it is, I forgot the name of the right link

Well I disagree, but I have read that site as well. If you stack technology against technology, Star Wars invariably is the favorite. The Empire is evil. They have giant warships. The Federation is good they don't oppress their people they have no need for massive planet destroying space stations.

I'm not saying that Star Trek would win, or that Star Wars would. That's a question that will never be answered. However Star Wars would not "completely destroy" Star Trek. And it's a question of personnel. The Empire is filled with Cobra-BATS. Starfleet has accomplished Starship Captains. A Starship Captain is a miracle worker, they get the job done. However their technology may stack up, Star Trek has better Captains. Also no C3P0.

but they have that "pesky doctor soran" to put it in Janeway's scripted, but not spoken words...

still I agree, no 3po=good

Great picture. I can see the fight between a Klingon and a Jedi being one heck of a battle.

Yes, Klingon blood in ST-6 was indeed pink, and then red in subsequent ST episodes.

I love the DS9 episode Trials and Tribbilations in which, when questioned about the lack of Klingon ridges, Worf simply states..."We don't talk about it."

Snap! A fellow Klingon connoisseur! Yeah Deep Space Nine has some great Klingon episodes.

Are you kidding? I love the big wrinkley forheaded lugs! *LOL* Check out the klingons in my gallery some time (K'a'rell Troi, [link] and Kr'Orne [link] )

Klingon blood looks like Pepto Bismol in "The Undiscovered Country" but then on Deep Space Nine the Klingons have regular red blood. So it's really whichever you'd rather draw. This is really cool, by the way.

haha thanks. yeah I know isn't that weird? Not to mention in the original series they didn't have massive forehead ridges.

Quesi In reply to Sir-Heartsalot [2005-11-04 01:46:23 +0000 UTC]

Yeah. In original series they didn't have a big enough budget. There was an episode of Enterprise that came up with an explanation. Something about genetic engineering...
LOL.

iuhoh. Sometimes I wish they would just let stuff like that go instead of trying to explain everything.

yeah. somethings should be left alone. on the other hand, explaining the unexplainable is pretty fun.

Pretty cool. You generate such a large volume of quality work I'm really impressed! Yeah, no hand is better. Just letting the weapons float through space says a lot more and leaves it all up to our imaginations. (Like a klingon would really be stopped just because he lost a hand!HA! no way. For some reason a monty python scene comes to mind. The one where he fights the knight who guards the bridge. "It's only a flesh wound!"

Sir-Heartsalot In reply to Lady-Kagewaki [2005-08-09 03:18:32 +0000 UTC]

exactly! A Klingon would LOVE to die fighting a jedi it'd be like his dream come true. And yeah that scene is hilarious.
