for those of you who love a full-figured pinup as much as i do, you may already be familiar with the excellent work of russ platt . for those who aren't, consider this quick vector/color of one of his many beautiful pieces an introduction.

his take on Clementine Johnson from 'Reno! 911' struck me as absolutely stunning, and i wanted to try my hand at coloring it. thanks to a few tips and tricks i've picked up in the course of working with Illustrator, i felt i was ready to give it a try and did. i'm mostly happy with it.

EDIT: yes, the end part of the word 'SHERRIFF'S' is spelled wrong. i was gonna say that it was intentional and correct based on the stupidity and ineptitude of the characters on the show, but that'd be bullshit. i just forgot

Illustrator CS3, 4-10 hours over the course of several months since i first saw the piece. comments/crits welcome, but please also be sure to comment on the original as well.
