This piece was inspired by several late-night walks last week around full moon time. I kept looking up at the motion, hues, and layers of night upon the silhouette of the Rockies. I imagined The Hermit up there alone.. quietly climbing the highest heights to offer the light of his knowledge and truth to the world.
This is colored pencil on wood panel. The wood panel was infused with ritual magic based on the essences of The Hermit card in the tarot deck, and the Lapis Lazuli stone.
