Colored pencil on 12x12 wood panel - blessed with ritual magic: essences of macaw feather, carnelian, red jasper, and citrine.. and the Spirit of Fire.

This has been a very difficult piece for me to complete. When I first started to envision the Alchemical Goddess, I didn't realize that she would actually show up herself. I've been in tears, in need, in frustration, and in difficulty most days this month. And she has been there every step of the way: Transmuting my worries and fears with her all-encompassing fire. I feel reduced.. and yet reborn. I feel a completion of an inner alchemical process to match the completion of this piece.
Which must be why she wanted to be drawn by me.
