I lost a friend of mine....made this...

I just wanted to thank you all for your kind words and all the favs it realy means so mutch to me. And im sorry if all my sesponses to your kinde coments is just that... but i realy dont know what to say.... im so very greatfull for all the attention you have given me.

Your work is so beautiful and so moving, in a way that's different from most.
I think the first piece of your's that I saw was My Dog, and this one seems to have evoked a very similar reaction as that; it's sad to look at, but so beautiful, it's hard to look away.
This is an absolutely fantastic illustration of the pain life sometimes brings. You make it suprisingly easy to relate to.

I know this is acouple years late but I bougt this print a couple years ago. It is hanging right in front of my bed and everytime I look at it it gives me hope to the future. I am not sure what exactly the message you had put into the piece but to me it says there is always hope. Until your soul leaves your body never give up believing in the future. I love it and I never got around to putting this comment down but there it is...

losing hope is one thing. but in the end, as sad as it is... pain is the best inspiration... to be able to channel that sorrow and create something beautiful is a priceless gift indeed. not to mention the first step to laying that pain to rest... very well done... -[misanthrope]

this is both stunningly gorgeous and unbearably heartbreaking. i love the sketchy line art. for artists we most often resort to art in times of great sadness like this (and most other emotions as well) and this is stunning result. As much as i am truely sorry for your loss, i -do- adore the product of your sadness.
