I have known Tasha for...well, ever since I started out on DA as the little n00b I was. She's been there to cheer me up time after time with her epic randomness. She is a talented writer as well as digital and traditional artist. This piece is dedicated to her.
Practicing some digital art and- look, a real background!? I know it's fail, but it's my first... and most likely last for a while...I hate grass and trees now. Sort of in response to this beautiful piece.
I feel very inspired now- and you know what that means... MOAR FAIL ART SPAM- YEAAAAAH.

I'm sure you could produce something even better. 
I used a free program called GIMP and a tablet. You can download GIMP from just searching it on Google, and it works just as good as Photoshop.

Age shouldn't be an issue. I started drawing since grade 9 and I SUCKED. But I kept practicing and studying pictures of animals from biology books and magazines and after a while, I got to where I am now. Sure you won't get it perfect the first time, or heck, even the hundredth time. But you should never give up. I'm 16 now and it's been 3 years, but I still need A LOT of improving, yet I've never give up because I do believe if practice doesn't make perfect, it sure as hell get's you pretty darn close.

Beautiful artwork here! it looks so realistic. Both characters look great and oh so fluffy! and the background looks like it has some wind in it to me which is nice. I think it's also very nice how you dedicated this wonderful piece to Tasha. ~

I'd personally like to see some crisper details on the wolves, to bring them out from the background a bit more, but that's about the only thing I can think of.
