Well, okay, okay, I lied. LIED. I said this would take a bit longer but oddly enough, this trade piccy called to be finished first. *Blinks* I have a stack of trades and charrie portraits that need to be done, but this picture called first. What a blast to color this one! :3I really wish you guys could see the blue tongue or brilliantly colored underside or the blue paws. Well, you can, just visit Herbl's creator :3 Anyways, I believe I made a mistake coloring the connection part of the wings, which should have been colored like the underside, but a bit late now I guess. *laughs* Aaaaand my canner ate the light green coloration x-x Other than that, I kinda like how this one came out and hope Herbyl's creator does too! :3
Oh yes, I know, long time no update right? Lets just say its been a hellish few weeks!

good pose, and your shading is getting better. i think ive said this before, but make sure to bring the beak back into the face (look at photos of birds, it really helps) and the wings need to join the body by the hips not the foreleg. ^^' sorry, just anatomy stuff. i do like the pose tho, well done on that. cool looking gryphon.

Thank you and youre right upon that. Funny you mention it because I inked this some time ago. When I went to color I remembered what you said before and realized the mistake, doing a facepalm on the spot! *Laughs* But by then, when its inked, its hard/impossible to go back. Thats the one shortcoming of traditional media!

Sorry bout the drivers test. What did you do wrong to fail it? I failed my first one because I supposedly "ran a red light".
