A KAS Concept for a monster thats not my own? Blasphemy!

Anyways, here is 's iconic kaiju Typhoon in a sort of redesign based on our discussions we've been having about an updated and refined origin story for his role in KAS.

Storywise: KAS Typhoon's story is basically the same in concept. The father of the monsters (Typhon) of Atlantis used as a base to create a warrior to combat the influence of an eldritch horror, however it backfires horrifically dooming the great nations of Atlantis, Lemuria, Muu and Hyperborea as the monster becames an omnicidal war machine.

With the update to Xul's story that also means Typhoon needed a change. (Xul not even being known to exist!) So his change reflected the addition of the Abyss to the story. In short, the rampant war between Atlantis and Hyperborea somehow began to result in openings to the Abyss opening up all over their territories. (The Abyss being an alternate dimension parallel our own world which is an endless black ocean which corrupts and corrodes all in its influence) Madness and horrific humanoid abominations began sweeping city after city. So the Four Nations: Atlantis, Lemuria, Hyperborea and Muu convene to deal with the situation that may well doom their civilizations. So far, simply 'containing' the Abyss by locking away the Portals by drowning entire cities or nuking them have resulted in mass loss of life. So the four nations course of action was to consolidate all of their technology and knowledge to create something to venture forth INTO the Abyss and close the portals from within.

The Hyperboreans and their giant golems, animated with powerful magics.
The Lemurians and their biotechnology
The Muu and their cold hard machines.
And finally the Atlanteans and their giant war beasts.

The Atlanteans chose the father of all of their other monsters, Typhon, to be their champion. Brave and noble. So using Typhon as a base, the other three worked their magic into him. Biotech muscles, armored rock skin, and nanomachines infused into his very being, all designed to allow Typhon to walk into the abyss and stop it as well destroy any abyssal influence that was already present in the material realm.
For a time, he was successful. He sealed the Gates of Hades, destroyed countless abominations, and for a time... things looked hopeful...
... however...
Soon a new outbreak of the Abyss from MULTIPLE places at once occurred (the Cthonic Gates) and was spreading so fast and so unified that the Four Nations could not stop it. So Typhon was sent forth to stop it has he had multiple times prior: however, he encountered.... SOMETHING. He did battle with the IT valiantly, the ground quaked and skies trembled. However, when he emerged.... he was different. His Orichalcum skin melted away revealing his nanite infused bones connected to whatever muscles he had left, his regeneration erratic with bones jutting from every angle, his wings nothing but sickles... a black aura of his nanomachines swirling around him... and most concerning of all, his body dripping with a black, corrosive and tainting oil or mud. An attempt was made to see what was wrong with him: causing him to mercilessly attack and kill his own kin. Typhon was no more; his mind and body were now irreparably tainted by the AByss. Only a roaring, omnicidal war machine was in his place:: Typhoon. The Four Nations last hope was now turned into their darkest nightmare.
Typhons children, were divided into Civil War by those dedicated to their duty to Atlantis vs. those who did not want to destroy their father and blame Atlantis for what was done to him.
The other three nations likewise were wrecked by the onslaught of the Abyss. Typhoon was inevitably sealed away with help of a fifth party, however, the damage was done. The Four Nations decided to sink their islands beneath the waves, destroying them. Their monsters and creations sealed away in a deep sleep, and lost seemingly forever. And the stories of their creations becoming Greco-Roman Mythology. In doing so, the Four Nations also decided to warm the planet ever-slightly, ending what we would call the "Ice Age" and drowning away anywhere claimed by the Abyss once and for all. As the Glaciers receded, the Atlanteans, Hyperboreans, Muu and Lemurians were lost to myth... until the great earthquake of 2033.

Changes in Design from original image:

His Base design is mostly the same, albeit I added shreds of his flesh and skin left over to give him a bit more 'abyssal' flair, as well as showing the corrosion of the Abyss. Other than that, his design is exactly the same sans some artistic liberties with things like the hands, feet and torso (made the torso more like a ribcage) which is more due to my own style coming through in the image as opposed to any critical redesign changes.

Shifted his Blue colors of his blades to the bioluminescent Red of the Abyss.

Black, Oily Abyssal Mud dripping from his very body.

Bones jutting out due to his erratic/corrupted nano-machines or the like.
