Description It's me, avoiding homework again! Shhh, don't tell my profs, or they'll load more essays on me! ^_^;;

Anyway, a sketch to prove to you all that I'm not dead from English poisoning due to over-exposure; Cloud, from FF7 or Advent Children, whichever works for me. Again in the sloppy ten minute shading style, but I kinda like it. Actually, the sketch kinda looked better, because it had more shading and a rougher feel to it... ah well. I'll post that later and you can decide for yourselves. Anyway, picture. I like his hair. And his expression too, I guess. But mostly, it's just a little doodle that will become a scrap when the semester's end allows me to finish better work. However, in the meantime, if anyone else wants to color him, email me and I'll send you the lineart, so long as you promise to let me see the end result, and give me a little credit ^_^

Anyway, almost two and I have to be up in five hours.... so, night all!

SLS

~EDIT~

Here's the sketch, as promised. I think he looks... I dunno, nicer or something in the sketch. Though Cloud looks a little too happy in both, but whatever. I still think it's ok.
Anyway, here's the link:

oooh....the coloring style is unique and minimal (not necessarily a bad thing ) , and the actual line art itself is one of the most attractive Clouds I've ever seen, believe it or not. I tried to pass up the thumbnail the first time, but I had to go back and click it--it demanded to be seen at large!

I used PaintShop Pro. I think you can do this in most general painting programs, but don't quote me on that... Anyway, all I did was use the select tool to draw out an area I wanted shaded, and then went to my paint bucket tool. If you right click it, there's a way to select a texture to put in the background... I simply chose different variations of textures in different colors, and flood-filled the area. I used the selection wand again to choose another area, and so on... It's kind of hard o explain unless you've got the same program, I guess.
Hope that helps! If not, let me know, and I'll try to give you a hand figuring it out ^_^

Fantastical, as always Narshi. You're my favorite "doodler". You and Becky. I hope you never give up drawing.
