Is Granny Smith the only one old pony in Ponyville? I think not. Besides, giving the immortality talisman to old ones is kinda... trivially, don't you think?)

Of course she's not the only one, but she's surely the most popular.

I don't understand what you mean with "trivially", I simply think it's the best choice. I mean, an old character using the Dog Talisman is the best example for the Talisman to shows its effects. Otherwise, you need a pony suffering a deadly situation for its power to activate. Deadly situations are usually banned in a series like MLP, so seeing a elder which "youth vitality" is restored is a better manifestation of the Dog Talisman's power. 

Also, I'm not sure, but there was a similar situation back in a episode, where Flim and Flam tried to trick Granny with a "youth tonic" or something. Only this time, with the Dog Talisman, it would be actually working.

Well, yeah, you are right about this. But still I don't want to repeat the episodes from JCA. Since almost everybody know about all talisman powers, it would be too obviously.
Soo, I think I'll try to make something else with that one.
And who says the dangerous situations are forbidden? Even in the series there was many of them.

I was talking about "deadly-bloody danger situations". Of course there are dangerous situations, but they have restrictions. 

And frankly, I don't think you would be repeating an episode of JCA. Like I said, the episode with the tonic from Flim and Flam was also similar in some aspects; only this time, Granny would actually have her youth's vitality back. 

And even if it's too obvious, that doesn't mean is the wrong choice. I mean, I suspected from the beginning that Spike would keep the Dragon Talisman for being "his symbol", as he said. (Only I expected the Talisman would actually increase his own Fire Power). And Scootaloo having the Rooster Talisman was easy to guess too. I also have suspictions for the Talismans of the Ox, Snake, Monkey, Rabbit and Horse. I also suspect which Talisman Rarity has and what it would be its consequences. 

Finally, I have a suspiction about what all the Talismans could cause or create if just one pony has them. (Or at least, 11 of them). Based on a recent episode of MLP, I have an interesting idea. Do you want to know it?

Actually that episode with Flim and Flam reminds me of the Emperor's New Groove 2: Kronk's New Groove movie.

Well, sure some of talismans will be obviously for guessing about their owners. But still I wants to make some unexpected events in this. A new look on those talismans maybe.

Well, sure I would like to hear you versions. This is interesting. But I'm already have a scripts for almost all of the episodes about talismans. Just some detailes are left to make up.
