I've recently stumbled across Case Note, a brilliantly well written and amusing Death Note fanfic. It's entirely AU, and it's love in every possible way.

It also seems to be discontinued. Sadly.

Mmmyeah, time to explain this mess. So, we have L, famous private detective, and his pet cat, Watari. If you're wondering why L is dressed like that, well, I pretty much imagine him in a Dick Tracy-ish costume, 'specially since the story of Case Note takes place in the '30s.

Did they wear neckties back then? Not a clue.

I hope his coat buttons the right way (wtf am I saying?!?). I can't remember whether it's left on right or right on left.

Time taken: 3-4 hours (maybe) for the lineart and 1/2 hour for the colors. No shading.
