Description
A rather quick acrylic paint thing made on a small wooden board.I kind of like it. Its out of my typical style.
I realize now after haveing seen the original again today that this scans contrast is a bit off. It should be darker in the darker bits and the like.

.. Id have to say... Their versatility.
You can apply it like water colours or like oil paint. And anywhere in between is compatible withitself. It can fit a number of different painter styles for different individuals.
It leaves you the entire spectrum of colour without having to buy every single major colour [as with pencil crayon. With paint, I have the three base colours and the two tones, and Im set! thats five paints. I have over 100 crayons on the other hand]. You get good coverage of colour, and any colour, again, and quickly. Because the media can cover itself easily, you dont have to go over to any other media to fix mistakes.
You dont have to wait for it to dry before you can continue working [as with working with mixed media]. And when working in mixed media, it dries relatively fast and can reinforce your working surface.
A little paint can go a loooong way.
Its just so versitile. Always smooth looking if you want it. So many tones in one hue simply by your brush stroke...
I think i described acrylic rather than what I like about it. O_o

Still, but full of movement, and itself emotionally moving. Tender, sorrowful, thoughtful; the feel of summer twilight. And it's only a portrait, which could have been presented acceptably with none of these wonderful traits which make it expressive moreso than factual. Good work, Sitar.

Woflies... a new species. singular forum is "wofly". A winged insect whosebody is covered in pointy fur with a stripey and speckled pattern. Wings have neat tassels on them and what appears to be an exploding skull design.
