FALs aren't the most accurate of semi-auto 7.62x51mms, but I can't see why putting a scope on one wouldn't be decent for ~600m or so.

Very nice! Always good to have a .308 or two. I need to get one myself for practicality. All I have is Eastern Bloc stuff.
Personally I would put a scope on one, but you do have your Israeli FAL, I would use the lighter one for a long range sniper rifle. I know FALs aren't the lightest of rifles though. At least this one already has the support configuration with the carrying handle. XD
