Someone in TCP! I think I've put this in the wrong folder! Please move it if needed? Cheers
(Is there a folder for coloured pages?)Questions:
Are we putting names on the individual covers, and if yes- which names? (I've used mine and Panda's DA names as an example for now.)
And is it okay to have black ink in the bleed zone? It was the neatest way I could think to do it...
Anyway, this is the cover for Entry 12 of the Tortall Comic's Project, the Siege of Pirate's Swoop. The drawing in the background is ink and coloured pencil, I might upload the drawing as a seperate thing as well as I spent hours on it.

I LOVE this - the clouds, the shading, the colors, the flow of the lines and textures, the silhouettes...it's all fabulous. I think it might be one of my favorites of your drawings. Wonderful work!

How do you do the black people and animals thing? Do you take colored paper and cut it out?

No... I sketched the whole thing REALLY roughly in Photoshop (link: [link] ) so the silhouettes were on a seperate layer. Then I printed out the background sketch, coloured it, scanned it back in to the Photoshop file and put the silhouette layer over the top.
Usually I do it with sharpie markers, but I'm a bit strapped for cash and this seemed easier.

Hehehe, I'm so glad you like it! Seriously, it's your call as to stuff to change, especially the title font, colours, our names etc. I have it as a digital file so changing stuff isn't difficult or nuffin.

Well I like the font, and I would definitely keep the yellow-ish color. Maybe change the blue, but I'd just like to wait until we know what's happening with names and such. XD
