Ha ha, this brings back some wonderful and some EXTREMELY frustrating memories. When I first played Gen I, getting through the maze was such a pain in my ass...

Apparentoly in every Gen even I there are dots ont he ground to indicate where the walls are, but I never noticed XD

And yeah, I always had trouble with the Pokemon Center too. With me, I always had to heal up after beating the trainers, so it was like doing the whole process again. :\

and yeah, but since the GB had no lightening I guess they were impossible to see [link] , the newer versions have white dots. I didn't know that either, Alina told me while I was working on this page. xD

That is probably why I can't see for shit today. The game developers were probably sitting there like:
"Hey, you think we should maybe make this a little easier to see? You know, so people aren't straining their eyes?"
"Nah, they'll figure it out. In fact, we should make it harder to see, just to fuck with Meowth. LOL"
