Alright, so this went better than I planned. FAR from perfect but, I think I learned something about myself drawing her... for girls... start with the head structure (loose and no solid lines) then mouth, then move to the eyes and go from there. That was what helped me get this to look like what I wanted. Still need more practice... but this is a good sign. I hope you enjoy it.Related content

This is good here. *nods* My only critique is the back leg. Everything (from the background to the foreground) has some sort of detail on there, but the back leg (her right) is left out. Not shading, highlighting, nothing.
If you could add some to it, it'll make the composition more complete, to me at least.
But again, this is nice.

Wow... thanks for that. You're right. I don't even know why I didn't see that. I'm glad you like it overall. I'll pay attention to that for the next time. I think I got so hung up on making her look right that I dropped the ball a bit.

What I was taught is to take time to step back from the drawing, really study what I did, and see how to fix where I might have slipped, you know? So after a little while makin' lines, step back, check what you have made...if you're in the right direction, awesome...if not, still all good, just make the changes as you go.

Noted. Excellent advice. I tend to zone in and draw for like 4hrs at a time without getting up, I think I'll try to work in a break maybe each hr or something and make an effort to step back like you said.
