My friend Spindash told me that this was inspired by Sunset Boulevard from the fan game Sonic GT. He likes the game, but his biggest complaint is about something Sonic said about Shadow that does not match his character. I actually saw this scene myself and I wasn't too happy with it. Sonic said, "Is it bad if I kinda liked him best when he was sacrificing himself for the sake of the planet?" Honestly, I do not remember Sonic being a d_____bag. Seriously, who the hell was writing this?! I know it's a fan game, but come on! Sonic was never cold hearted like that!
