I drew this back in April to celebrate my Negatibuzz evolving into Moskevil in my copy of Yo-Kai Watch! I love the yokai mosquito 'family' so much now, haha. Unfortunately at the time, I didn't realize my reference didn't show that Moskevil has TWO pairs of wings. Oops.Art by me.

EDIT: Turns out my perception was correct after all, since both the yokai medallion art and 2D game artwork show them with a single pair of wings!

this art is still cool! I kind of assumed that he only has one pair of wings since it'd be consistent with mosquitoes being dipteran insects (i.e. insects with two wings), for the in-game model model multiple wings I imagine is to convey rapid flapping of wings.

Ahh that makes sense!! I went to check the 2D official artwork and yeah, it shows Moskevil and Skritchy with only one pair. Kind of a cool reason to put those on the in-game model for in-between frames!
