1. The idea and POV are great...I laughed out loud. 2. Composition is also nice and reads fairly well.
Points to work on: 1. You do need better variation in line-weight for rhythm, nuance, implied light source, and to give a clear impression of the distance between back, middle, and foreground. 2. Line quality being different on differing forms would also help, for instance the feathers could look more airy and light and the rocks might have a few scattered pebbles and dots for texture.
Solutions: 1. I suggest trying different crow-quill pen nibs instead of marker. 2. Also check out Jack Hamm's books [link] and [link]
3. You also might try some subtle gradation in your coloring.
